Territory Sales Manager
About the role
Dura-Line is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to support and grow its Accessories business across the Northeastern USA (New Jersey to Maine). This remote position is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying growth opportunities, providing technical solutions, and working closely with customers in the field.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand market share for Dura-Line's accessories portfolio across the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, engineering firms, utilities, and end users.
- Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical sales support both virtually and in person.
- Collaborate with Application Engineers and internal teams to develop customer-focused technical and commercial solutions.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage opportunities, account planning, forecasting, project tracking, and customer interactions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead and support Manufacturer Representatives within the territory.
- Partner with Customer Service, Inside Sales, Product Management, and Operations to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage sales activities including RFQs, RFPs, quotations, pricing, pipeline management, forecasts, and customer visits.
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and business updates to leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years of technical sales, business development, engineering, or related commercial experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships.
- Experience managing a territory independently in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and business acumen with experience managing sales performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Able to translate technical information into customer-focused business solutions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and operational teams.
- Able to travel up to 75%.
- Must reside in the North East States (New Jersey to Maine).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in telecom, fiber optic infrastructure, conduit systems, datacom, power utility, HDPE products, construction, or related industries.
- Knowledge of accessories products, outside plant construction, and utility markets.
- Experience working with distributors, manufacturers' representatives, contractors, and engineering firms.

Compensation
The compensation for this position will typically range from $93,500 - $133,000/yr plus competitive sales bonus structure. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
