Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and develop new customers within Key markets such as OEMs, enclosure manufacturers, marine, and industrial clients.
- Generate new opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Expand Existing Accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at new and existing clients.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand needs, present solutions, and strengthen partnerships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing technical insight and ensuring that customers receive exceptional support throughout the sales process.
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Prepare and present proposals, product presentations, and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Track activities, customer interactions, and opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the industrial manufacturing sector or a related field. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineered products. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales-related tools.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and ability to manage multiple accounts. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
