Responsibilities
- Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.
- Track and manage sales opportunities across the assigned area - from initial inquiry through to order close.
- Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricing.
- Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them through in-person calls, phone, text and email.
- Territory management – assure proper coverage of all customers and industries within assigned geographic area and provide exceptional customer service.
- Key account management – be responsible for all customers in the territory. Be adept in dealing with Company owners, managers and field personnel.
- Product Demonstrations – develop, schedule, conduct equipment demonstrations with customers.
- CRM – input and maintain customer accounts, opportunities and activities in Salesforce CRM software.
- Able to effectively work independently and remotely.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience and a track record of success in durable goods/construction/industrial sales.
- Knowledge of Vermeer underground construction products and solutions.
- Ability to sell Vermeer underground construction products and solutions.

Schedule & Compensation
- Full time Monday-Friday hours with daily travel to customer sites (vehicle provided).
- Base salary plus commission with OTE of $100k+.
