Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.
  • Track and manage sales opportunities across the assigned area - from initial inquiry through to order close.
  • Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricing.
  • Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them through in-person calls, phone, text and email.
  • Territory management – assure proper coverage of all customers and industries within assigned geographic area and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Key account management – be responsible for all customers in the territory. Be adept in dealing with Company owners, managers and field personnel.
  • Product Demonstrations – develop, schedule, conduct equipment demonstrations with customers.
  • CRM – input and maintain customer accounts, opportunities and activities in Salesforce CRM software.
  • Able to effectively work independently and remotely.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience and a track record of success in durable goods/construction/industrial sales.
  • Knowledge of Vermeer underground construction products and solutions.
  • Ability to sell Vermeer underground construction products and solutions.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full time Monday-Friday hours with daily travel to customer sites (vehicle provided).
  • Base salary plus commission with OTE of $100k+.
