About the role
Territory Sales Representative at Acme Tools in Fargo, ND. This position requires a people-oriented individual with a passion for sales and customer service. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and building relationships with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales and product support for industrial, construction, and residential construction equipment
- Prospect for new accounts, foster current customer relationships, and grow opportunities through a consultative sales approach
- Write orders, prepare quotes, coordinate deliveries, and support accounts receivable processes
- Identify customer opportunities and make product/service recommendations
- Schedule appointments to present products at customers' work sites or businesses
- Showcase items through product demonstrations before the sale
- Follow up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues
- Participate in store events such as physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, and special sales
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting suspicious activity
- Complete related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct customer service experience, preferably in territory sales
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- The ability to work in-store on Saturdays as business dictates
