Responsibilities
- Provide valuable assistance for industrial, construction, and residential construction equipment, offering expert advice and support to both new and existing customers.
- Actively prospect for new accounts and nurture current customer relationships by taking a consultative approach, ensuring our offerings align with their needs.
- Identify opportunities and make tailored product or service recommendations.
- Schedule appointments to meet with customers at their work sites or businesses, where you showcase products through informative demonstrations.
- Guide customers through starting procedures and breaking-in periods, and follow up to ensure their satisfaction while resolving any potential issues.
- Participate in store events, operate and maintain a company vehicle and any provided technology resources, and prioritize safety standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct customer service experience, preferably in territory sales.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment, and strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- The ability to work in-store on Saturdays as business dictates.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
