Territory Manager - Virginia

About the role

Gallagher is seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Manager to lead sales growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with our dealer network and end users. The territory includes Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. The ideal candidate would be based in Virginia. This role comes with a company vehicle, as the majority of your time will be spent on the road visiting farms, ranches, and retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Execute an approved annual regional sales plan.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and farmers/ranchers.
• Conduct on-farm/ranch consultations and product demonstrations.
• Provide in-store merchandising support including displays and POP materials.
• Deliver expert troubleshooting and product recommendations to end users and dealers.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
• Travel extensively within the territory to maximize growth potential.
• Use CRM tools to plan, track, and report on activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A passion for agriculture and a strong understanding of farm/ranch operations.
• Natural relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Enjoy being on the road and engaging directly with customers.
• Confident presenting and demonstrating products in both one‑on‑one and group settings.
• Able to troubleshoot and recommend solutions with a consultative approach.
• Tech‑savvy and able to use CRM tools to manage your territory effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and travel demands.
• A 4‑year college degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Previous Territory Management experience in the agricultural marketplace.
• Proven track record of strong sales growth and achievement.

Pay

Base salary range of $73,000 - $85,000, plus 20% bonus potential

Schedule

Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel.
