About the role

BIOTRONIK Neuro is seeking a Territory Manager to join their Neuromodulation Segment in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves promoting, selling, and servicing BIOTRONIK’s product platform within an assigned territory, focusing on the spinal cord stimulation business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service BIOTRONIK products and offerings to existing and competitive customers.
  • Support patients throughout the educational and clinical process for spinal cord stimulation therapy.
  • Provide support and technical assistance during the use of BIOTRONIK products during procedures.
  • Develop and implement quarterly sales plan and business reviews to achieve sales goals and objectives, while maintaining forward thinking strategies as protection for market shifts for sustained territory performance.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (physicians, hospital administrators, Allied Healthcare Professionals, etc) within assigned territory to identify opportunities to promote BIOTRONIK products and services.
  • Complete administrative reporting as assigned (for example: expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, and inventory log).
  • Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution, and pricing, as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
  • Manage time and company resources in an effective way to control unnecessary expenses/assets.
  • Train and educate both existing and new customers on the availability and use of BIOTRONIK’s product portfolio.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned BIOTRONIK asset management, including inventory and capital equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bio Engineering, Business or an equivalent degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years medical device or biotechnology experience is required.
  • 1+ years of interventional pain/spine experience in a sales role is preferred.
  • Neuromodulation experience within the pain management market is preferred.
  • Proven experience in implementing and leading Regional projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to communicate effectively within and outside of the organization.
  • Competent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a diverse and inclusive team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with external customers.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Experience with direct quota attainment and performance metrics.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of the overall implantable medical device market.
  • Ability to interface and interact with patients.
  • Experience in making multiple referral calls daily.
  • Basic computer skills are required with the ability to navigate in a Windows environment, while learning, adapting and maintaining compliance with new platforms, such as Salesforce and Smartsheets.
  • Must be willing and be able to comply with all health and administrative facility credentialing demands, in order to perform job duties.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and compliance training assignments.
  • Available and willing to work and/or travel weekends and evenings to include calls outside of standard working hours.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a geographically diverse business environment.
  • Frequent moving up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table and from one to another surface at approximately the same level.
  • Constantly operates a computer, mobile device and other office-productivity equipment.
  • Frequent bending, squatting and balance activities.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to be independently mobile.
  • Constantly required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers, co-workers, healthcare providers and patients in order to exchange accurate information.
  • Must be able to visually examine anatomical structures via radiographic imaging.
  • Must be able to abide by medical facility mandated PPE requirements due to environmental exposures.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours total per day, and up to 4 hours continuously.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-135,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a commission plan, with earning potential based on sales performance.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible schedule to accommodate all business and clinical field responsibilities, including weekends and evenings.
