Responsibilities
- Make sales calls to surgeons of various specialties, operating room management, and nursing and administration.
- Communicate the benefits of using CooperSurgical products in surgical practice and/or operating rooms.
- Compile weekly and monthly sales and activity reports and submit them to the Regional Manager in a complete and timely fashion.
- Plan and execute a sales plan to achieve sales and business goals within the assigned territory.
- Complete training requirements for products and their surgical applications, pass interim and final examinations, and demonstrate clinical and product knowledge to Training and Sales Management.
- Demonstrate competency in communicating and training physicians, nursing, and cleaning and sterilization personnel in the proper use and maintenance of products.
- Maintain up-to-date certification in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain medical documentation and a good documented health profile to comply with customer requirements within the territory.
- Travel and work independently within the territory, including overnight stays as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1-3 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, preferably within the hospital/OR environment.
- Documented ability to grow sales in previous sales positions.
- Satisfactory and positive responses from business and personal references.
- Maintain medical documentation and a good documented health profile to comply with customer requirements within the territory.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay
The starting base pay for this role is between $70,000 - $80,000 with a total earnings potential of up to $173,000 at target. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
