Territory Manager – Earthmoving Equipment

About the role
You’ll take ownership of an established territory while identifying new opportunities across the Central QLD region. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll deliver a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to delivery and after-sales support.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and exceed territory targets
- Develop and execute effective territory sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with civil and construction customers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle (prospecting through to delivery)
- Promote both new and used equipment offerings
- Conduct product demonstrations and attend industry events
- Support tenders, campaigns, and product promotions
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
- Partner with parts and service teams to deliver exceptional after-sales support
Requirements
Proven experience in heavy earthmoving equipment sales (essential)
Strong understanding of the civil and construction sector
Demonstrated success managing a sales territory
Confident in cold calling, lead generation and closing deals
Ability to work autonomously and manage a large geographic region
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems and sales platforms
High attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
