About the role

MiniMed is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive business growth and support for Diabetes products and services. This role focuses on promoting, selling, and supporting our offerings within the Los Angeles Territory, covering Torrance, Beverly Hills, Inglewood, Redondo Beach, Hawthorne, Carson, and downtown Los Angeles. The Territory Manager is expected to be in the field 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

  • Promote, sell, and service MiniMed products to physicians, patients, and referral sources through sales calls and educational activities.
  • Implement quarterly sales and market development plans to achieve targets, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Territory Managers, Diabetes Clinical Educators, and cross-functional teams to educate stakeholders on intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Provide product and therapy technical support to patients, including consultation at staff in-services, physician seminars, and community organizations (ADA, AADE, JDRF, patient support groups).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and non-clinical buyers to establish a strong business base.
  • Manage territory expenses, inventory, and product returns, and coordinate daily customer support activities as assigned.
  • Capture healthcare professional engagements via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete administrative reporting, utilize approved sales collateral, and conduct market research on customers and competitors.
  • Communicate customer feedback and product needs to internal stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Marketing).

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, minimum of three (3) years prior sales experience.
  • Nice to Have: Field sales experience, prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience, experience using Salesforce, prior inside sales or field clinical experience with MiniMed, previous sales award recipient, strong data analysis, evaluation and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Must be able to drive approximately 100% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

Benefits & Compensation

At MiniMed, we offer a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations are $58,000.00 - $98,000.00. For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $64,000 - $110,000 USD. This position is eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), providing the opportunity to earn additional uncapped incentive compensation based on performance, bringing the estimated average total target compensation (TTC) range to $146,000 - 192,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location.
