About the role
Neurolutions is seeking a dedicated Stroke Recovery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitation and a passion for helping patients recover from stroke.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized recovery plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- Provide ongoing education to patients and their families about stroke recovery techniques and resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
- Current license to practice in your state.
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of stroke recovery principles and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.
- Experience with patient education and motivational interviewing.
