Job Summary
Responsible for managing the demand creation and sales of Trus Joist engineered lumber products in Washington state. Candidates must live within Washington area.
Accountabilities
- Independently Develops and implements a territory strategy that maximizes the opportunity for success.
- Drives sales and profit by creating primary demand for products through interactions with builders, dealers, the design community, and building officials.
- Develops and delivers customer-specific solutions that demonstrate value and improved returns for the builder.
- Develops and nurtures relationships with key customers at various levels to grow the business and ensure their active involvement in service determination.
- Provides product and solution knowledge training/education to builders, design community, dealers, distributors, and building officials aligned with Trus Joist training programs.

- Primary Location: USA-WA-Olympia
- Schedule: Full-time
- Travel: Yes, 25% of the time
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to explain residential construction, technical, and design concepts regarding value creation to the builder
- Business acumen, financial competency, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated creativity in problem-solving and solutions
- Strong consultative selling ability
- Working knowledge of levers to drive results to meet sales strategy/profitability targets
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
Education and Experience
- HS/GED
- 5+ years overall experience with 3+ years TM I experience in Wyoming or equivalent experience (architectural rep, dealer sales rep with EWP experience)

Pay and Benefits
- Salary Range: $75,679 to $135,500 based on skills, qualifications, and experience
