Regional Manager

About the role

Homestead manages senior living facilities across Michigan, with over 30 years of industry experience and a strong reputation. We are seeking a Regional Manager to support Executive Directors at facilities in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. This role spearheads growth and process improvement initiatives, manages profit and loss, and requires regional travel to maintain facility presence and ensure sustained success. This is an on-call position requiring coverage of open shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops or expands corporate and facility programs
• Monitors facility operations including budget compliance, clinical services, and regulatory compliance
• Recruits, hires, develops, and retains high-performance teams through training, coaching, and accountability
• Capable of filling in for vacant shifts and being available on-call
• Proactively identifies opportunities within the region and implements action plans to address potential issues
• Takes ownership of problems and acts with a sense of urgency to reach resolutions
• Resolves all facility needs and requests; ensures facilities are in working order
• Acts as team leader to the operational team
• Ensures facilities comply with corporate directives and implement corporate programs
• Directs activities of regional office support staff
• Develops policies and procedures for facilities
• Represents corporation and facilities at industry meetings and promotes programs through community involvement
• Oversees employee relations and staff conflict

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of operations in Health Care industry
• 2 or more years managing HFA/AFC licensed communities
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% of week
• Strong computer skills
