Territory Manager

About the role
The Territory Manager oversees multiple logistics operations tied to customer merchandise deliveries, ensuring timely completion and adherence to RLX standards. This role involves daily travel between assigned client retail locations to manage relationships with motor carriers and client representatives while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Responsibilities
- Consistently meet and exceed client service goals
- Oversee daily outbound operations at multiple client retail locations, ensuring compliance with company, client, local, state, and federal policies
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Leverage routing software to schedule and tender client deliveries
- Manage communication regarding special requests from clients and their customers
- Conduct daily meetings with service providers and teams, ensuring performance rankings are updated and accurate
- Interpret and share location KPIs with key stakeholders
- Partner with motor carriers to ensure compliance and delivery capacity
- Maintain and upkeep all assigned assets from RLX and the client
- Perform daily onsite store audits to ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with peers on work allocation, training, and problem resolution
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience strongly preferred)
- 1-2 years of last-mile distribution, supply chain operations, or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power BI
- Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor, especially in conflict resolution
- Reliable transportation for commuting and client meetings within the assigned territory
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The role requires regular movement, standing, and bending for extended periods. Effective in-person and digital communication with coworkers and stakeholders is essential. The position involves maneuvering in work areas, moving objects, occasional extended hours, and frequent travel to client retail locations.
