About the role
Responsible for inspecting structures for signs of termite activity and applying appropriate treatments to prevent infestations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings for signs of termites and other wood-boring insects
- Apply termite treatments using various methods including liquid, bait, and soil treatments
- Document findings and treatment applications in accordance with company standards
- Communicate with clients regarding termite control measures and follow-up inspections
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in entomology, pest management, or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Experience in pest control or related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of termite biology and behavior
- Understanding of pest control products and their applications
- Ability to operate equipment such as sprayers and monitors
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
