Term Limited Temporary (TLT) - Logistics Sr. Capital Projects Coordinator

About the role
This Term Limited Temporary (TLT) Logistics Senior Capital Projects Coordinator position is fully benefited and expected to last approximately 2 years. The role supports SPU’s Logistics Division by managing and supporting capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform core Senior Capital Projects Coordinator work for the Logistics Division
- Manage and support Logistics capital projects, including seismic water and drainage material storage
- Upgrade EV charging stations (west parking)
- Oversee grinder pump installation
- Manage leasing spaces and secure services at non-SPU owned facilities
- Perform Flood Control back-up duties

Requirements
- Four (4) years of project or construction management or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field
- If no degree, two (2) additional years of qualifying experience may substitute
Combinations of education, training, certification, and experience will be evaluated for comparability.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with workforce facilities capital projects (e.g., interior remodels, locker room/shower upgrades, roof replacements)
- Experience with capital project lifecycles from planning, engineering design, construction, to closeout
- Familiarity with facilities asset management systems
- Experience in cross-functional or matrixed teams coordinating with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of public works contracting and government procurement processes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering design documents, including plans, specifications, and reports
Pay
The full salary range for this position is $64.17 – $74.86 per hour.
Schedule
This temporary opportunity requires five (5) days in-office, Monday through Friday. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and supervisor.
