Temporary Logistics Coordinator I

About the role

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Temporary Logistics Coordinator I to join the Manufacturing team. This role supports Alphazyme’s shipping and receiving processes, inventory management, and internal formulation needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and receipt on all incoming goods, and place goods into appropriate inventory storage locations.
• Create labels, package goods/materials, and transport them to the shipping location.
• Arrange for carrier shipments and replenish shipping materials/labels.
• Support product formulations to maintain internal inventory levels and fulfill make-to-order customer demand.
• Support formulation of solutions and buffers needed for internal needs and external customer requests.
• Execute work instructions and ensure good documentation practices.
• Maintain quality standards as per company policy and certifications.
• Ensure responsible Warehouse and stockroom areas are clean and organized.
• Perform other functions and duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science discipline such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology preferred.
• Previous experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of good documentation practices.
• Experience with ISO 13485 is desired.

Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to quality standards.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
