About the role
The Department of Religion and Philosophy at Bethel University (IN) seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member in New Testament and Greek to start in August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach and develop coursework in New Testament and Greek in response to departmental needs and areas of expertise.
- Advising students in the Christian Ministries major, particularly those with a Biblical Studies concentration.
- Engage in professional service and scholarly activities.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in New Testament or Biblical Studies.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence.
- Enthusiastic interest in mentoring students.
- Interest in working collaboratively in a Christian liberal arts setting.
Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of New Testament and Greek literature.
- Experience in teaching and advising students in related fields.
