About the role
The Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) at Rutgers University is seeking outstanding candidates for new full-time, Tenure-Track or Tenured faculty positions with expertise in Microbiome science. Two positions are available in this Open Rank search.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of research projects related to microbiome science.
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians within the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) and Rutgers–New Brunswick.
- Lead research initiatives within the newly established Rutgers University Microbiome Program (RUMP).
- Teach and mentor students in relevant courses and programs.
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives.
Requirements
- A PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in microbiome research and/or clinical applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to secure external funding.
