About the Role
The Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the tenure track. Selected applicants will hold an academic appointment in the Department of Medicine within the division of his/her specialty.
Qualifications
- M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
- ABIM certification in Internal Medicine or its specialties
Responsibilities
- Teaching: Teach students, residents, and/or fellows while engaged in clinical activities and/or serve as lecturer for divisional and/or school educational programs.
- Clinical: Work in outpatient clinics and as an attending on the inpatient service within the hospitals at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and/or Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center (CMC VAMC).
- Research/Scholarship: Conduct basic science, clinical, translational, health policy, or health services research. Establish an innovative, independent research program that attracts and maintains extramural funding from government agencies, private foundations, and/or industry.
- Leadership: Serve in management and/or leadership roles.
