About the role
The Jefferson Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute (JMRRI) seeks a faculty scientist to develop and lead a research program aligned with the Institute's focus on human translational neuroscience and neurorehabilitation. The successful candidate will receive a tenure-track appointment in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Responsibilities
The position includes dedicated laboratory and testing space at the Institute, located on the Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation Hospital campus in Elkins Park, PA. The successful candidate will benefit from JMRRI's strong track record of clinical-research integration and opportunities to collaborate across laboratories studying cognition, emotion, language, and motor control in acute and degenerative neurologic conditions.
Requirements
We seek applicants with a PhD and demonstrated research productivity and independence, though candidates at all career stages are encouraged to apply. MDs and clinician-scientists with a substantial research track record will also be considered.
