About the Role

The Bradley University Department of Psychology seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical or Counseling beginning August 2027. The successful candidate will teach a junior-level course in abnormal psychology and other courses in their area of expertise (duties equivalent to a 3/3 course load). An active research program that meaningfully engages undergraduate students is expected. Research support from the university and department is available.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (required by the expected start date).
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, caring, and equitable learning and work environment.

Qualifications

  • Cover letter outlining qualifications for the position.
  • Curriculum vitae.
  • Research statement.
  • Teaching statement with evidence of teaching effectiveness.
  • Statement outlining integration of principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion into duties.
  • Two pre-prints of recent publications.

Three letters of recommendation will be solicited from those invited to interview.

Pay

$64,000.00 to $68,000.00 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 2027.
