The Department of Accountancy at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Accountancy. Responsibilities
- Teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels
- Conduct research in Accountancy
- Provide leadership in the department, the university, and in the Accountancy discipline

- Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
- Candidates must have strong research and teaching effectiveness
- Candidates must demonstrate leadership potential commensurate with the position sought

Schedule
The appointment is for a 100% full-time Academic position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after July 17, 2026.
Pay
The budgeted salary range for this position is $250,000 to $260,000. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, rank, and experience while considering internal equity.
