Tenure-Eligible ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR or Ranked ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE CLINICAL PROFESSOR of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology / UMKC School of Dentistry / Oral Pathology, Radiology & Medicine

Job Description

The UMKC School of Dentistry seeks a full-time, 100% FTE faculty member in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology within the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology, and Medicine. This is a ranked position that may be appointed as either tenure-track or ranked non–tenure track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with rank, track, and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Consideration for tenure requires the inclusion of evidence of sustained scholarly activity within the application materials.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD degree, or a foreign equivalent professional dental degree
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited postgraduate training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (minimum 24 months in the U.S.)
  • Eligibility for licensure in the State of Missouri, including successful completion of required clinical licensure examinations

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching oral and maxillofacial radiology
  • Research experience
