Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership as Head of the Oral Radiology discipline.
- Oversee oral radiology curriculum, assessments, and accreditation standards.
- Deliver innovative instruction to predoctoral and postdoctoral students and residents.
- Supervise clinical radiology services and student rotations within HSDM’s faculty practice.
- Engage in scholarly research and mentor students and residents on research projects.
- Collaborate across Harvard’s ecosystem, including the Harvard Medical School, T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
- Contribute to advanced diagnostic imaging initiatives, including Cone Beam CT and AI-based imaging technologies.
Qualifications
- DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree.
- Oral & Dental Care Completion of a postgraduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
- Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly achievement and growth within the field.
- Proven experience in academic or clinical leadership and working with diverse student populations.
- Strong record of research accomplishments.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline.
- Interest or experience in artificial intelligence applications in imaging and diagnostic innovation.
Pay
$130,000 – $200,000 per year, commensurate with rank, education, certification, and experience.
