Assistant/Associate Professor of Dental Medicine
Job Summary
This is a College of Dental Medicine Full-Time faculty position within Western University of Health Sciences and is offered in conjunction with an administrative appointment. Together the faculty role of Assistant/Associate Professor (PCN 999124) and the administrative role (PCN A02117) comprise a full-time position (1.0 FTE).
Primary Purpose:
Conduct teaching, patient care activities, scholarly and service activities in support of the mission, goals and objectives of the College and University.

Requirements
- Required Qualifications:
- D.D.S. or D.M.D from an institution accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or equivalent.
- Completion of specialty program at an institution accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or equivalent.
- Must have active California license or be qualified to obtain licensure in California.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in clinical practice, academics and/or clinical research is desirable.

- Knowledge: Recognized knowledge and experience in area of expertise.
- Skills: Ability to interact in an effective and positive manner with individuals of diverse backgrounds, including administration, faculty, students, staff and outside contacts.
- Abilities: Ability to effectively conduct detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality; ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in an academic environment; ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups, both in writing and orally; demonstrate a commitment to working in an organization that values and promotes humanism.

Pay
The expected pay scale is as follows:
Minimum: $180,000.00 Annually
Maximum: $195,000.00 Annually
