Tenure-earning Faculty Opportunity - Department of Metabolism & Physiology

Position Highlights

Moffitt offers a competitive start-up package and dedicated space in a highly interactive research environment on the Moffitt campus that houses faculty in the Department of Metabolism & Physiology. Collaborate with Department members to understand cancers as dynamic, evolving systems with complex tumor-host interactions, and to use this integrated understanding to identify novel therapeutic vulnerabilities. Ideal Candidates Develop an independent research program in Metabolism that complements the Department's existing strengths in on the characterization of cancer-related processes in their native state. Candidates with demonstrated strength in any area of metabolism will be considered, but preference will be given to candidates with research plans focused on tumor-host metabolic interactions, including diet, microbiome, cachexia, therapy, and other factors.

Credentials And Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree, a strong track record of impactful science and compelling plans for building a creative research program. Pay

Salary Range $130,728.00 - $196,102.40

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
