About the role

The Tensioner Technician I will maintain the basic daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s), ensuring the machine produces quality parts while meeting the desired productivity rate.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain tensioner machining equipment (e.g., tooling adjustment, presetting, preventive maintenance).
  • Troubleshoot basic machine issues.
  • Maintain and check parts to meet quality standards.
  • Read small quality testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, microscope).
  • Read part prints.
  • Run one production line at a time (ability to run up to 4 lines).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Zero to two years of related experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • 5S experience.
  • Basic problem-solving or troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail.
  • Position requires weekends as needed with 24-hour notice.
