Tennis is Elementary Instructor - Seasonal

Seasonal position teaching basic tennis skills and fundamentals to elementary-aged children, following USTA's Net Generation guidelines.

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday, 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. at two locations
• Fall Session: October 20 – November 12 (4 weeks)
• Winter Session: January and February

Responsibilities

• Follow USTA’s Net Generation guidelines and practice plans
• Complete USTA’s Net Generation coaching certification and achieve “Green Light” coaching status
• Perform pre- and post-session facility inspections to ensure safety and readiness
• Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and caregivers
• Teach basic tennis skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Maintain facility cleanliness and enforce rules

• Excellent communication skills and energetic personality
• Ability to work closely and patiently with children
• Strong leadership and role-model qualities
• Minimum age requirements met
• Reliable transportation
• Certified tennis instructor with a strong understanding of basic tennis
• Professional, confident, and capable of handling issues calmly
• Enjoyment of fast-paced, sports-focused environments
