Tennis Coach
TGA Premier Sports in Northern Westchester is one of the fastest growing TGA franchises, using youth sports as the vehicle to teach kids ages 5-14 a skill while incorporating education, character development, and proper etiquette in the comfort of their own school or community. Fun and safety are our top priorities.
About the role
We are looking for responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching tennis to kids as both lead and assistant coaches. Coaches can work 1–7 days per week, with 2–5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. We train all staff on the TGA curriculum, so extensive coaching experience is not required.
We have programs year-round and work with coaches' flexible schedules, scheduling you as close as possible to your location. Travel compensation is provided if you drive more than 10 miles to a location.
Responsibilities
- Teach the game of tennis to kids ages 5–14
- Incorporate education, character development, and proper etiquette into lessons
- Prioritize fun and safety in all programs
- Communicate effectively with kids and parents
- Commit to at least one full session (by season)
Requirements
- Available during after-school hours (2:30 PM and later)
- Reliable source of transportation
- Ability to step out of your comfort zone and engage with kids
- Passion for working with kids and coaching sports
- Clean background check
- High energy, flexible schedule, punctual, passionate, and creative
- Must be at least 16 years of age
