Tennis Coach

About the role

TGA Premier Sports in Northern Westchester is seeking responsible individuals who are passionate about teaching tennis to kids ages 5–14. Using youth sports as a vehicle, TGA incorporates education, character development, and proper etiquette in a fun, safe environment at local schools and community sites. Coaches can work 1 to 7 days per week, with 2–5 hours per day during the school year and up to 6+ hours during the summer. Both lead and assistant coaches are needed; no extensive coaching experience is required as full training on the TGA curriculum is provided.

Schedule

• After-school hours (2:30 pm and later) during the week
• Flexible scheduling year-round, accommodating coaches’ availability
• Sessions are seasonal; coaches must commit to at least one full session

Requirements

• Available during after-school hours (2:30 pm and later)
• Reliable source of transportation; travel compensation provided for drives over 10 miles
• Able to step out of your comfort zone and engage with kids
• Passion for working with kids and coaching sports
• Clean background check
• High energy, flexible schedule, punctual, passionate, and creative
• Comfortable communicating with kids and parents
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Pay

• $15–$30 per hour
