Tenant Relocation Specialist
Temporary position lasting approximately 4 months with the strong possibility of extension. Based in Carthage, MS, USA.
About the role
Our On-site Relocation Specialists provide direct support for a relocation project and facilitate all phases of the tenant-relocation process. Specialists ensure tenants are relocated as efficiently as possible. This role is ideal for college students, recent graduates, entry-level professionals, re-entrants to the workforce, or experienced professionals seeking a career change. Training and oversight are provided by our Corporate Tenant Relocation Coordinator and Specialist.
Leumas Residential, founded in 2003, is a rapidly growing contractor for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). We assist HUD with relocating Section 8 tenants nationwide, aiming to improve housing stability, education, health, economic security, and mobility for families.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective Section 8 landlords in opportunity zones and connect tenants with these landlords.
- Provide direct housing opportunity counseling to tenants, helping them find homes with access to quality school systems and job opportunities.
- Prepare documents and maintain tenant files for accuracy and completion throughout the relocation process.
- Act as the liaison between tenants and corporate staff.
Requirements
- Prior management and administrative experience.
- Solid data entry and business writing skills.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- One year of management experience (preferred, not required).
- One year of leasing consultant experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
- Community outreach service experience (preferred).
Pay
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, bi-weekly pay schedule.
