Tenant Engagement Coordinator
Role Summary
Newmark is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Tenant Engagement Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for community engagement and tenant events across our growing commercial office portfolio. As a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant building community, fostering positive tenant relationships, and executing high-quality engagement programs. This role requires a solution-focused mindset, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities at short notice.
Portfolio & Engagement Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary point of contact for the annual tenant survey, coordinating all responses and necessary follow-ups with management teams.
- Develops and grows relationships with local small businesses and associations to develop programs, activities, creative and unique events for tenants.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for all tenants, managing the Yardi Tenant Portal, coordinating conference center reservations, managing work orders, and creating and posting tenant communication pieces.
- Provides building access card support as the primary contact for new, lost, and replacement cards.
- Coordinates access to the building Fitness Center and ensures all legal documentation is received and maintained.
- Executes a comprehensive calendar of events, including daily & weekly tenant programs, monthly wellness & recognition, annual major events, and community outreach.
- Continuously expands event concepts and community activities across all current and future properties.
Event Planning
Initiate, plan, promote, and execute a comprehensive calendar of events, including daily & weekly tenant programs, monthly wellness & recognition, annual major events and community outreach.
Engagement & Strategy
- Develops innovative ways to promote the building’s Green and Healthy Program.
- Researches and proposes new branded items or amenities to elevate the tenant’s experience.
- Collaborates with Senior Property Managers and Ownership to develop and maintain budgets for all assets.
- Coordinates access to the building Fitness Center and ensures all legal documentation is received and maintained.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Mobility: Ability to move frequently across large commercial office properties, including stairs and outdoor common areas, to facilitate events and tours.
- Lifting & Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry event supplies, catering items, and conference room furniture weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Stamina: Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods during high-traffic events.
- Travel: Periodic travel to other property sites within the portfolio may be required to oversee event execution or training.
Requirements
- Operation and management of the building conference centers.
- Production of the weekly building newsletter and assisting with tenant specific communications.
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $XXXXXX to $XXXXXXXX annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
