Temporary University Staff - Administrative
Job Duties
- Tracks, stocks, orders, and inventories office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available for workplace operation.
- Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures.
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.
- Serves as first point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication, organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Capacity to work autonomously and in a self-directed fashion.
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Able to exercise sound judgment and decision making.
Conditions Of Appointment
- A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s).
- A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s).
