The Temporary Teacher - English/Social Studies position at Rite of Passage (San Andreas, CA) is part of the El Dorado County Office of Education's support for the Rite of Passage Short-Term Residential Therapy Program. This position provides instructional services to students related to applied curriculum, emphasizing a hands-on and skills approach that supports vocational programs and reinforces concepts across different subjects.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional services aligned with the applied curriculum.
- Emphasize a hands-on and skills-based approach to support vocational programs.
- Tie directly into curriculum delivered in other subject areas for consistent concept and skill reinforcement.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid California Teaching Credential.
- Experience in successful classroom teaching.
- Demonstrated success in teaching at-risk students, including appropriate curriculum design, lesson planning, and clinical teaching.
