Job Summary

The Community Engagement Department is currently seeking a Temporary Summer Counselor to join their team of professionals.

Duties

• Be present on the Biscayne Bay Campus Monday - Friday from June 8-July 31 for 35 hours a week.
• Participate in pre-camp staff training.
• Be physically able and willing to maintain constant supervision of campers and to fulfill all responsibilities.
• Be on time for all shifts and meetings.
• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds to go back and forth to storage.
• Become familiar with and implement camp policies, procedures and policies.
• Be flexible and able to work well with others while maintaining open and effective communication.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all areas used by the camp.
• Must pass a level 2 background check.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Work Schedule

8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Advertised Salary

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour.
