Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
Knowledge of the approaches to early learning is desirable. Writing lesson plans using Ready Rosie; Teaching Strategies; and/or the Creative Curriculum. Communicate professionally with staff, children, families and as well as other professionals.
Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position
Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with a strong customer service orientation are essential. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are highly desirable. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with staff, children and families, and other professionals. Previous child care experience is preferred.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
Management Preferences
Previous work experience in child care settings is highly desirable. High School diploma required. CPR and First-Aid is preferred but not required.
