Summary Job Summary The Ann and H.J. Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences is seeking a Temporary Researcher. Smead Aerospace has a small team of Software Engineers that support the department curriculum activities and especially the software required to successfully run the experiential learning facilities and lab activities. The successful candidate will work to document, develop, and maintain resources for the student software engineering team and especially the training and transferring of knowledge to new hires. Responsibilities What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be Work on LabVIEW upgrades and development, generating new AI tools for the department, supporting lab activities and courses with a software component. What We Can Offer The hire rate for this part-time position will be $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. Be Boulder. What We Require Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, and at least one year of experience working as a software engineer. What You Will Need Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C programming, AI tools, software development, GIT version control and Linux. What We Would Like You To Have Experience with coding embedded systems and LabVIEW.
