Temporary Quality Engineer IV
About the role
Support risk analysis, control plans, inspection, supplier quality, and metrology methodology activities. Ensure all project deliverables meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirements, including applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Learn manufacturing processes as assigned to create improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost
- Lead nonconforming product resolution, including containment action plans and root cause corrective action activities (COPQ metrics); implement corrective actions and procedural updates
- Participate in customer reviews of quality concerns, discussions, and presentations, as well as internal quality-related meetings
- Compile, audit, and approve product compliance documentation (e.g., EIDP, FAI, source inspection materials)
- Engage in cross-functional process improvement initiatives
- Perform internal audits for process and procedure compliance
- Mentor entry-level Quality Engineering team members
- Define rework procedures for nonconforming material
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline
- Alternative qualifications: Six (6) years of experience with a Master’s degree, or three (3) years with a PhD
This position may require access to ITAR/EAR-controlled technology, materials, software, or hardware. U.S. export license eligibility may be required as a condition of employment.
