Job Summary

The Department of Biological Sciences is currently seeking a Temporary Program Assistant to support instructional operations for general biology courses. This position provides administrative and operational support to faculty, staff, and students and contributes to the efficient delivery of instructional activities within the department.

Duties

  • Provides instructional support services, including coordination of exam proctors, preparation and distribution of examinations, administration of make-up exams, and assistance with instructional and learning technologies (e.g., Canvas, iClicker, Akindi).
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for students and faculty regarding course-related inquiries, assisting with the resolution of academic and conduct-related concerns in accordance with departmental procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and five (5) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Advertised Salary

$14.00-$15.00 per hour.
