Program Assistant (temporary)
for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. Must not include Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Preserve all substantive info. We need to parse the posting. Key info: - Opportunity Description: Seattle Central College is looking to hire a temporary Program Assistant in STEM-B Division. - Salary Range: $42,780 to $56,952 annually. - Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin 10/05/2026. - Position Summary: Under supervision of Dean of STEM and Business, provide ongoing administrative support to Dean and division office staff. Maintain division office, first point of contact for students, employees, visitors. This position is non temporary part-time classified position not exceeding 18 months, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position works 100% of the time on-site. This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by WFSE. - About Us: description of district, benefits package: Competitive Pay Rates, Promotional Opportunities, Great Medical, Dental, and Retirement plans, Paid Sick and Vacation Leave, Transportation benefits, Tuition Waivers, PEBB Wellness Plan, Washington State Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), professional development opportunities, enrichment experiences. - Application Procedures: Attach resume, cover letter, submit online. (We must remove application instructions? The instruction says remove application instructions. So we should drop that section.) - Notice To Applicants: virtual interviews, authorization to work, no visa sponsorship, OPT not extended. This is boilerplate? Might be considered legal/EEO? It's about work authorization; maybe we should drop as it's not substantive? The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The notice about virtual interviews and work authorization could be considered legal/EEO? It's about eligibility; maybe we should drop. However, "Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a regular basis. The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas." That's a requirement; could be considered a qualification. But it's more like legal. I'd consider it boilerplate and drop. - What You Will Be Working On: list of duties. That's responsibilities. - What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience) AA degree and experience working in an office or educational setting; Familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel; Experience working in a customer service environment. - Physical Demands and Disability Accommodation: includes ADA info. Might be considered boilerplate? It's about accommodation; maybe we can keep as part of Requirements? But it's more about disability accommodation; could be considered legal. Probably drop. - Office Setting: description of work environment. Could be part of Responsibilities or Requirements? Might be considered substantive. Could include as part of Responsibilities? Might be better as a separate section? The instruction: prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine Office Setting into Responsibilities or Requirements. - Notice of Non-Discrimination Statement: definitely boilerplate, drop. - Background Check Statement: legal, drop. Thus we need sections: About the role (maybe Position Summary + About Us?), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (education/experience/skills), Qualifications (maybe same as Requirements? But we need to decide which sections to include. The instruction: use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We should include only those with real specific content. We have: - About the role: could combine Position Summary and About Us? Actually About Us is about the organization, not the role. But we could still have About the role as a summary of the role (Position Summary). That seems appropriate. - Responsibilities: the list under "What You Will Be Working On". - Requirements: maybe the "What you bring as a candidate" (AA degree, experience, familiarity with MS Office, customer service). Also maybe the schedule info (40 hours/week, M-F, 8-5, on-site) could go under Schedule. - Qualifications: maybe we could treat Requirements as qualifications? But we need to avoid duplication. Could have Requirements for education/experience, Skills for specific skills (Microsoft Office, customer service). Qualifications could be something else like "temporary position not exceeding 18 months, governed by collective bargaining agreement". But that's more about role. - Benefits: we have list from About Us: Competitive Pay Rates, Promotional Opportunities, Great Medical, Dental, and Retirement plans, Paid Sick and Vacation Leave, Transportation benefits, Tuition Waivers, PEBB Wellness Plan, Washington State Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), professional development opportunities, enrichment experiences. - Pay: Salary Range $42,780 to $56,952 annually. - Schedule: working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on-site, not exceeding 18 months. We also have first review date 10/05/2026 and open until filled. That's metadata; could be placed in a short paragraph under About the role or maybe a separate paragraph but not a heading. The instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. So we can include a short paragraph with that info. We must not include application instructions, boilerplate, etc. Thus final HTML:

We must ensure no extra sections like About Us separate; we incorporated into About the role. Also we omitted the "About Us" description of district; but we might need to preserve that substantive info. The About Us includes info about district being largest etc. That is substantive about the employer. Should we preserve? The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. The About Us description is substantive about the college district. We could include it in About the role or maybe a separate section "About the college". But we only have allowed headings list; we could add a section "About the college" but not in list. The instruction says use
