Temporary Plate Production Coordinator

About the role

Crown Holdings, Inc. through its subsidiaries is a world leader in the metal packaging production process, designing and manufacturing innovative and sustainable metal packaging solutions for major global clients. The Temporary Plate Production Coordinator position is assigned through February 28, 2027, supporting the North American Beverage Division's graphics department by processing graphic packages to supply high-quality plates with quick turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Punch and prepare plates for output.
• Load prepared files on CTP or DLE, expose and process plates.
• Examine plates for defects, package, and prepare for shipping.
• Follow all required safety procedures such as PPE, Ergonomics, Chemical Hazards, general housekeeping, etc.
• Perform the job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.

Requirements

• Experience and understanding of the plate-making process preferred.
• Previous experience in a printing environment is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of the Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Work effectively without direct supervision as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and understand new concepts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• You will regularly move heavy boxes from storage to the plate room.
