About the role
A temporary Nurse Practitioner is sought to provide comprehensive outpatient care for pediatric patients with allergic conditions. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care to children and adolescents.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with allergies such as asthma, hives, food, environmental, medication allergies, and eczema.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with at least two years of pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience; allergy experience preferred.
- Current Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification and Massachusetts APRN license.
- Licenses including DEA and MCSR, along with BLS certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Schedule
Work schedule includes 40 hours per week, primarily at the main campus and Brookline Place.
