Job Description

The primary responsibility is to teach language arts to middle school students at Powell Butte Community School. This position is temporary and applications are being accepted from Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 12:00 AM Pacific Standard Time until Friday, July 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver language arts lessons aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units
• Support students' social and emotional development
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Valid teaching license in Oregon
• Experience teaching middle school language arts preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay
