Temporary Medical Assistant (Bilingual English/Spanish)- Plaza Del Sol
Position Summary
We are currently hiring a Bilingual (Spanish/English) TEMP to PERM Medical Assistant to join our Plaza Del Sol Health Center in the Corona, Queens. This temporary assignment is full time and for a duration of a minimum of 3 months with eligibility to apply to permanent openings upon conclusion.
Key Duties
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
- Completes referrals and discharges patients.
- Affords assistance to providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
- Affords assistance to provider with treatments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Bilingual Spanish/English required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer literacy.
- Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support our patients.
Starting Compensation
Minimum: $21.00/hour; Maximum: $21.00/hour
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule
- Onsite in the Bronx
- 40-hour shift
- Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm
- Saturday 7am to 1:30pm
