Key Responsibilities
- Support administrative operations related to medical practice closure activities
- Aid with patient notifications, including phone calls and written communication
- Coordinate and facilitate medical records transitions and requests
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements
- Manage patient inquiries and provide clear, professional guidance during the transition
- Handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain organized records, files, and tracking systems
- Assist with general administrative tasks to support operational wrap-up
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timelines and requirements are met
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative setting required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient processes, and records handling
- Experience with patient communication and coordination
- High level of empathy and professionalism, especially in sensitive or difficult conversations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and ability to commit to the duration of the assignment
