We must ensure we preserve all substantive info. Let's extract details. Job Summary paragraph: "This job opportunity is for temporary work. The Material Handler I, Operations (Ops) will work primarily in an assigned production and/or warehousing environment. The Material Handler will operate material handling equipment to move, store and retrieve product in production areas of outlet and recycling while following Goodwill of Colorado’s warehousing, material handling procedures, and recycling guidelines. This role will be in contact with customers, and we will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries." We need to preserve all substantive info. Also note "Please Note: This position will be posted through 9/30/26*" and "Pay: $19.29 Hr." and "This job opportunity is for temporary work." The note about posting date maybe minor metadata; we can fold into short p or drop. The instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a shortor drop it. The posting date is minor metadata; we could include in a short p under About the role or separate? Probably we can include as a short p after the summary. Essential Functions list: Let's extract each bullet: - Use and become certified on compactor, baler, hand dolly, pallet jack, or other equipment/tools to effectively move, store, and retrieve product. - Tip in the Outlet production area and sort recyclable materials, based on type, into their proper bins. - Ensure that all areas of production have sufficient materials to work with. - Prepare items for store rotations and recycling procedures. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Ensure all recycled materials and trash bins do not become overfilled. - Complete all duties and responsibilities in accordance with department and organization policies and procedures so there is no lapse of work to minimize down time. - Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers, and fellow employees. - Crosstrain in other departments/areas and act as back-up for other areas as required. - Perform other duties as assigned. We'll put each as
Physical Requirements
if we want. The instruction: "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." The e.g. suggests those are examples, not exclusive. But to be safe, we could incorporate physical requirements into Responsibilities or Qualifications? Might be better to add a section for Physical Requirements as it's substantive. However the instruction says "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Adding Physical Requirements would be another section; but it's substantive. I'd include it.
But we must not create sections with filler like "not specified". Physical Requirements has specific content.
Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay, Schedule, Physical Requirements.
We could also include Requirements but it's similar to Qualifications; we can skip Requirements to avoid duplication.
Now we need to ensure we don't include boilerplate: EEO, E-Verify, Safe & Drug-free Workplace, etc. Remove those lines.
Also remove duplicated lines: maybe "Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions." appears twice (in Qualifications and Physical Requirements). We should keep only one instance? The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If duplicated, we should keep one? It says remove duplicated lines. So we should remove duplicate occurrences. We'll keep one instance maybe under Qualifications or Physical Requirements. Let's keep it under Qualifications (since it's about accommodations). Remove duplicate under Physical Requirements.
Also remove "Job Title: 676 – Material Handler I, Operations Dept Number: Varies – Operations" as minor metadata; we can drop or fold into short p. We'll drop.
Now compile.
