Responsibilities
- Ensure safety is the top priority while performing any part of the job and follow all established safety and company policies.
- Communicate any issues with the Supervisor.
- Select inventory to satisfy production requirements.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production.
- Replenish picking locations by transferring and moving inventory from overflow locations.
- Perform cycle counts as assigned and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Receive and put away inventory.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (e.g., size, type, style, color, or product code).
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Fill customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to the shipping department.
- Label materials with identifying information.
- Use computer systems to check inventory quantities and locations.
- Observe safety and security procedures; use equipment and materials properly; report potentially unsafe conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be willing to operate a forklift, stock picker, pallet jack, and hand truck as necessary.
- Experience using RFSmart software is considered a plus.
- Ability to learn AX2012, RFSmart, and KVP.

- Regularly required to stand.

- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
