About the role

The School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) and The International Studies Program at UC San Diego are seeking a Temporary Lecturer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge and/or experience addressing the educational and academic needs of diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and other core courses
  • Improve curriculum
  • Develop and assess new educational initiatives
  • Engage in student-related initiatives as directed

Qualifications

  • M.A. in Economics, Political Science, International Management or related fields
  • At least one year of teaching experience or specialized field expertise in comparative politics, focusing on public policy or the politics of policy design or implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Research experience
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
