About the role

The Ball State University department of history provides undergraduate instruction to majors, minors, and students taking classes to fulfill their plan of study. HIST 151 is a survey of world history from the development of writing to the renaissance.

Responsibilities

• Provide online or in person instruction.
• Use master syllabus to construct syllabus and Canvas page.
• Provide instruction, perform assessment, maintaining records including midterms and finals.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in history with a specialty in the Middle East or related field.
• Experience in visual history: video documentary, video games, websites/apps, or virtual reality.
• Commitment to instruction through immersive learning.
